Plan Your Visit
We want every visit to be safe and fun for all dogs and their people. Please take a moment to review our guidelines.
Open Every Day
The park is free and open to the public year-round. No registration or membership required.
For Everyone
All dogs must be licensed and vaccinated
Dogs must be current on rabies and core vaccines. Bring proof if asked by park staff or other visitors.
Owners are responsible at all times
You are legally and financially responsible for your dog's behavior. Keep eyes on your pup — no phone-only visits.
Leash on entry and exit
Always leash your dog before entering and immediately after leaving the off-leash area.
Clean up after your dog — every time
Waste bags are provided at the entrance. Please use them. Leaving waste is grounds for removal from the park.
No food or treats inside the park
Food can trigger resource guarding and aggression. Save snacks for outside the fence.
Children must be supervised
Children under 12 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.
Maximum of 3 dogs per handler
To ensure you can properly supervise your dogs, please limit to 3 per person.
No smoking or alcohol
Enfield Dog Park is a smoke-free, alcohol-free space for everyone's comfort and safety.
For Your Pup
No aggressive dogs
If your dog shows signs of aggression — growling, snapping, or attacking — please remove them immediately.
No dogs in heat
Female dogs in heat are not permitted in the park to prevent conflict and unwanted behavior.
No puppies under 4 months
Young puppies may not be fully vaccinated and can be overwhelmed by larger dogs.
Intervene if play gets too rough
If your dog is bullying or being bullied, step in calmly. Don't wait for a fight to break out.
Prong collars and e-collars must be removed
These can catch on other dogs during play and cause injury. Use a flat collar or harness inside the park.
No digging
Please discourage your dog from digging. Fill any holes your dog creates.
The Unwritten Rules
Not official rules, but the kind of thing that makes everyone's visit better.
Greet other dogs calmly — don't let your dog rush the gate when others enter.
If your dog is having a bad day, it's okay to leave. There's always tomorrow.
Don't bring toys that your dog won't share — it causes conflict.
Pick up waste even if it's not your dog's. We're all in this together.
Be friendly! This is a community space. Say hi to your neighbors.
If you see a safety issue, speak up kindly or contact the board.
Open every day from dawn to dusk. No fees, no membership — just bring your pup and a smile.
