Our Story

About Enfield
Dog Park

Founded in 2011 by a group of passionate dog owners, Enfield Dog Park has grown into a beloved community gathering spot on Ecology Drive.

Est. 2011

A Park Built by Dog Lovers

It started with a handful of neighbors who wanted a safe, off-leash space for their dogs. After years of advocacy, fundraising, and working with the Town of Enfield, the park on Ecology Drive officially opened its gates in 2011.

Today, the park is maintained and operated by an all-volunteer board of directors — local dog owners who give their time to keep this space clean, safe, and welcoming for every pup and person in the community.

What We Stand For

Our Values

Community First

We believe a great dog park makes a great neighborhood. Every decision we make puts the community — two-legged and four-legged — first.

Love for the Outdoors

We're stewards of this green space. We work to keep it clean, safe, and beautiful for everyone who visits.

Volunteer-Driven

Enfield Dog Park is run entirely by volunteers. Our board gives their time because they love this park and the community it serves.

Always Improving

From new water stations to better fencing, we're always looking for ways to make the park better. Your feedback drives our projects.
